Your entries are, indeed, funny. It's just that I have too many of you humorous friends around. I get so many good entries. It makes it awfully hard for me to choose.

My approach usually involves extracting the entries without the names, shuffling them, and then ranking them by how hard they make me laugh. Since I'm in different moods at different times, it's kinda up to chance. And quite usually, I have 6 or 7 that I can't narrow it down from without hitting my head against the wall a few times. (I suspect blunt head trauma can skew the results, too.)

Anyway, I hope you don't give up totally-- your entries are great.

Well, even my boyfriend thinks I'm not funny. Maybe I should try Shakespearean tragedy. Why don't we do some tragic cartoons? ;)
